Melvin Lane Bathroom

The bathroom with all the bells and whistles and a chandelier with shells for fun.  The clients wanted a bathroom that would be like a hotel spa in Hawaii.  Large glass doors to the private patio, a steam shower that you can stretch out in, a stone water fall and fireplace in the massage room.

The California Spanish house was built in early 1900.  It was time for restoration and we wanted to keep it as close to the original period as possible.  All the tiles were carefully selected from original Malibu Tile patterns.  The care that was taken in the choices of materials and colors is reflected through the home.

Clean lines, warm, traditional home with an open plan between family room, living room and kitchen for entertaining.

Just Drawings

All of the drawings below are originals line drawings by Full Circle Group and hand drawn by Jenny Kallis.  Though CAD is currently the most popular form of drawing plans, the essence of design comes not from the use of the computer but by the knowledge of the use of space and material.  The line drawing provides the depth and detail to show you what your kitchen will ultimately look like.  A truly great drawing has layers of information that helps the contractor to bid and build the final project as it was intended.

In a custom home the drawings require detail and a well thought out plan.  It requires a kind of 3 dimensional thinking that is achieved when hand/eye coordination is employed.
